University students take the internships at SuperGeo
SuperGeo Technologies, the leading global provider of complete GIS software and solutions, provided internship opportunities for several universities in Taiwan. The students have learned how to apply Geography Information System (GIS) knowledge and geospatial techniques to their specialized domains, such as geography, information technology, transportation, and tourism.
Having firm relationship with the higher educational institutes in Taiwan, SuperGeo has collaborated with several universities on numerous GIS applications. The university-industry cooperation not only benefits SuperGeo by absorbing the most advanced theories, but also assists the professors and researchers in related research. Meanwhile, students can learn how to combine theory with practice and also set up the goal for their future career.
