NedRob's Place - The Website for Kids
NedRob's Place is a great new website for kids where we mix useful and educational material with eye-opening fun and entertaining information and videos along with things for your children to do. We've offered links whose topics range from Homework Resources and Museums to links for making your phone ring when you can't find it and knowing when your school is cancelled because of bad weather. We are constantly on the lookout for new and interesting links that will let children expand their horizons safely while having some fun rolled in at the same time. We believe our target audience is the 7 to 14 year old cohort.
We are conscious of the fact that children will not stay on a website if it is not interesting or fun. Children are fine with websites that are educational. Children will also stay on websites if they teach good morals. Children will stay on websites that make them curious about the world. If, and it's a big if, the websites are fun and entertaining. We have tried to compile a mix of cool, different, interesting, entertaining children's websites that we think will hold your child's attention long enough to expose him or her to a new idea, new fact or new way of looking at a problem.
We have lots of science links with experiments and webcams. We have interactive links that allow kids to create their own designs and "art". We link to great Zoos and Aquariums. We link to homework resources. We have several fun videos on the site as well. We also have a selection of classic sports oriented websites.
