March 6, 2010 - PRLog -- Internet marketer and social bookmarking expert Ben Roy will be presenting at the March meeting of the Minneapolis Internet and Search Marketing Authority, a local group focused on helping Internet professionals generate more traffic and more sales.  Ben will be covering the basics of social bookmarking, how to leverage social bookmarking for search engine optimization and traffic generation, and the good and bad of automating social bookmarking.

“I enjoy having the opportunity to get together with other professionals to discuss Internet marketing, social media, and business in general.  Taking the chance to give something back to the group was a no-brainer,” said Ben.

The Minneapolis Internet and Search Marketing Authority is a Meetup.com based group that was founded on January 21, 2008 and is organized by Robert Flourney.  There are currently over 240 members, a mix of professional Internet marketers and small businesses interested in improving their online presence.

The meetings offer members an opportunity to gain knowledge as well as network with other business owners.  Of late there has been an increasing focus on incorporating a more structured element and bringing in speakers with relevant expertise.
