Derrell Lawrence: Paying it Forward

March 6, 2010 - PRLog -- “Giving back and investing in your community is a sure way to pay it forward”, says Derrell Lawrence (Award Winning Filmmaker), scheduled to speak at an orphanage in Trenton, New Jersey March 6, 2010.  Derrell will be giving the children a synopsis about what it takes to be a filmmaker.  “It’s not about giving money all the time. It’s about taking one, teaching one, and spending time with one.  I really enjoy the benefits of giving back.   It gives me a sense of an even greater accomplishment in life.  And the most rewarding part of paying it forward is listening to the children who show a great deal of interest in filmmaking and knowing that maybe one day I have made a significant impact on someone's life".
