Peninsula Shops validation and strength in helping local merchants be recognized through out the Peninsula has lead to quality leads and recognition. The most recent and well known member Peninsula Shops has brought into its membership is the Foster City Chamber of Commerce.
Mae Heagerty-Matos, CEO, Foster City Chamber of Commerce ( http://www.fostercitychamber.com ) wanted to bring a social media voice into the marketing mix and has used Peninsula Shops membership and services to help extend the Chamber's online and social media presence to the community. You can now find Foster City Chamber of Commerce on Facebook, Twitter ( @EnjoyFosterCity ) and Peninsula Shops.
Helping to promote local livelihood, Peninsula Shops now sends select residents on the Peninsula, including Foster City, direct mail. The direct mail piece being sent in the first week of March, is Peninsula Shops unique way of offsetting advertising incentives for local merchants while reminding the community about valuable local merchants.
The growth and recognition Peninsula Shops continues to receive is well beyond initial goals and expectations Owner/Founder Jason E. Sutherland initially set for the 1st year marketing plan. "Thank you to the community I know, love and share. Your ongoing support and validation of what we recognize as our livelihood is important to all of us."
