Griffiths is using the Hybrid Solar System to provide power to base camp of the hit CBS show. The System is also used to extensively for base camps in location shoots.

He was interviewed on Yello!, the creative culture blog of Smashbox Studios, where he acknowledged that fossil-fuel generated power is a "big" issue and called Mobile Solar Power Systems “exciting” technology:  

“I’m always excited about technology when it comes to resources–and that’s a big one. I’d love to be a sort of showcase for that kind of thing in the future.”
