Denver, CO (March 3, 2010) – The EnCon Companies is pleased to announce that Chad Van Kampen, PE, a Senior Preconstruction Engineer, has earned his Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional designation for Building Design and Construction (LEED AP BD+C). The new LEED credential is awarded to professionals who have demonstrated advanced knowledge in green building practices and concepts while practicing in a specific field of interest.
An experienced professional engineer, Chad joined EnCon Companies in 2005, bringing expertise in the preconstruction phase of precast concrete construction. Chad explained, “Obtaining the LEED AP BD+C designation will allow EnCon to support architects, contractors, and owners in making cutting‐edge green building construction decisions. This will enable us to truly partner with all our customers to better achieve the project’s sustainability goals.”
