Navella, LLC, an independent production company, has released its self-produced major motion picture, "Tapped" for domestic home video. Produced in Philadelphia, the screenplay is a suspense/thriller written by Director and Philly native, Christopher O'Brien and Craig Dietzman.
The feature stars Tony Slade (Creep Creepersin's Creepshow), Jennifer Merritt (One Last Dream of America, Natalie), with Caitlin Simkovich, Chris Line (Brutal Massacre: A Comedy, Jack Black’s The School of Rock) and Mary Scholz (The Matter With Clark). Tapped is the story of Jimmy, who gets sucked into his girlfriend's dark past when he discovers that their tortured relationship has been built on the blood of others. Is it madness or dark forces propelling his increasingly volatile nature? As his mind unravels, it becomes clear that she must be held accountable.
Director, Christopher O'Brien remarked; “I'm so thankful to be releasing my first feature film to the public. If the film makes people laugh, think, or just get nervous about the QUIET neighbor down the street, we did our job.”
The Music for the film features Philadelphia area artists, including Lauren Hart, Steve Laret, House of Swank, Jayy Mannon, Alexander Seier, Gutterluck and Bella.
Original score by Kevin Konhya.
Tapped is available on DVD from Amazon.com ($15.95). Tapped on DVD comes with a behind the scenes documentary and commentary track from Director Christopher O'Brien and Producer Scott LoCicero.
