Miss Taffy’s Cheesecakes Opens Retail Location in Cary, NC

CARY, NC. – Effective March 5, 2010, Miss Taffy’s Cheesecakes will be selling cheesecakes out their new retail location at Six String Café and Music Hall in Cary, NC.  The move enables Miss Taffy’s Cheesecakes’ customers to pick up a cake or a slice of cheesecake at anytime, as opposed to pre-ordering and waiting for the cake to bake.  In addition, the partnership allows Six String Café and Music Hall to increase its dessert offerings and lease a portion of their kitchen space to the baker.

Cathy Wood, baker and owner of Miss Taffy’s Cheesecakes, said, “I am so excited to be taking my business to the next level.  As a business owner, it is rewarding to know that I will be able to make it simpler for my customers to purchase Miss Taffy’s Cheesecakes and get cakes nearly “on demand.”  As a baker, I’m just thrilled to have more space and fewer sprinkles on the dining room floor!”  

The partnership does not give Six String Café and Music Hall exclusive rights to offer Miss Taffy’s Cheesecakes.  This means that the cakes will remain on the menus of other area restaurants and cafes, including Mama Mia’s Pizza and Pasta in Apex, NC and Electric Beanz Coffee Shop in Raleigh, NC.
