By: Patches4Less Snoop Bowl is the culmination of the youth football season for the Snoop Youth Football League, a youth league sponsored by rap music artist Snoop Dogg. The annual bowl game pits a California all-star team coached by Snoop Dogg against a local all-star team in the city where the Super Bowl is held. The 2010 Florida team was coached to a 14-12 victory by former Miami Hurricanes guard Bennie Blades. In the preliminary game, the Naperville (Ill.) Patriots, an American Youth Football team, defeated a Texas team coached by NFL great Deion Sanders. That win gave the Naperville team a 50-game winning streak. Patches 4 Less salutes Snoop Dogg and the Snoop Youth Football League for their efforts to better the lives of young athletes. Since its inception, the Snoop Bowl has raised thousands of dollars for charity, and helped hundreds of boys and girls learn life lessons as well as the basics of football.
