NY Pizza to compete for World Championship after winning American Title
Goodfella’s Brick Oven Pizza of Staten Island New York won the American Eastern Division Gourmet Pizza Title at the International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas Nevada today. This makes them finalists in the World Championship competition tomorrow for 10,000 dollars in prize money against the International pizza champs from Italy, Australia and Japan.
The International Pizza Expo is the biggest pizza show on earth drawing up to 10,000 participants. The tasty pizza entry from the Boys at Goodfella’s this year is the Seafood Medley featuring fresh lobster, crab meat, shrimp, imported provolone, Pecorino Romano, scallions, basil with a lemon and lime zest. WOW! Was the word being heard from the judges. The final contest is set for tomorrow march 4th.
