On 1st December 2009 www.MyChildcare.ie, Ireland’s fastest growing childcare finder, joined forces with MyHome.ie to bring a childcare search facility to the hundreds of thousands of people looking for property every day! Why? In many surveys of their users for the last 3 years “childcare”
The Background of MyChildcare.ie
MyChildcare.ie was launched in early 2009 by Adrian and Regina Graham. When looking for childcare for their 2 children they were frustrated by the absence of a central and comprehensive resource for finding childcare in Ireland. They were overwhelmed by all the terminology they encountered when looking for childcare and could not find trustworthy advice online to help them make the right choice. As a result, www.MyChildcare.ie was born. With a heavy media and Google campaign it grew quickly from a couple of hundred visitors per week to over 22,000 last week alone (week 1st – 8th December 2009). The “Parent Information”
Childcare providers, for a small fee, can log onto MyChildcare.ie and create an advert with up to 10 photos of their childcare premises and unlimited descriptions of their services and facilities. Parents searching for childcare in their area (both on MyChildcare.ie and now MyHome.ie also) will find the childcare adverts and be able to take a virtual tour to see exactly where their little one will spend their happy days.
