Small Business is on the Rise in Detroit

Russell Bazaar continues string of business development events

PRLog - Mar. 3, 2010 - DETROIT -- With the momentum from last weekend’s Black Business Festival still strong, the Russell Bazaar forges ahead this Saturday, March 6 with the return of Business Seminar Series at 9 am.

Building upon the success the Black Business Festival, the Business Seminar Series offers valuable information to business owners about strategies and opportunities available to them. The seminar series brings professionals from a variety of fields to talk to anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit.

This Saturday’s host, Net Business Design, will tailor the seminar to marketing your business. Net Business Design is dedicated to providing cutting edge methods and services for business owner’s multimedia needs. With combined staff experience of over 30 years in tradition and Web-based marketing, Net Business Design can design a campaign to suit any business.

The Black Business Festival packed the Russell Bazaar last weekend and these seminars look to satisfy the needs of the dedicated businessmen and women in Detroit until next year’s event. Even if you attended last weekend’s events, follow the advice from Black Business Festival speaker Keith King of WGPR 107.5 FM and “be at any free conference in the area with your business.”

The Business Seminar Series is a semi-monthly event occurring the first and third Saturday of every month from 9-10 a.m. in the Russell Gallery located inside the Russell Bazaar. Seminars are open to the public and free of charge.

About the Russell Bazaar: The Russell Bazaar is located inside the Historic Russell Industrial Center: a seven building inter connected complex designed by Albert Kahn and finished in 1925 on a 25 acre site near I-75 and I-94. The Russell Bazaar has become a business incubator for emerging and established merchants inside the City of Detroit. The Bazaar is based on street markets found all over the world, except the Russell Bazaar is located under one roof. It provides a terrific experience for shoppers and gives retail merchants, local artists, craftspeople and other types of small businesses a low cost "storefront" in a lively environment. It generates excitement, jobs and economic opportunity at the same time.
