Newport County Chamber and RI Hospitality Association to Offer Job Fair

March 3, 2010 - PRLog -- March 1, 2010 – Newport, RI -- The Newport County Chamber of Commerce and the RI Hospitality Association have teamed up to offer a 2010 Employment Fair for job seekers.  The fair will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Newport County Campus of the Community College of Rhode Island, located at One John H. Chafee Boulevard, Newport, RI.  RI Department of Labor & Training, JobsInRI.com, CCRI, and the Hotel Viking are participating sponsors of the event.

This year’s job fair will feature two informative seminars.  The first, "How to Find a Job with the U.S. Government," will be presented by Walter Shaughnessy of Naval Station Newport.  The seminar will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the CCRI Auditorium.  In addition, there will be a seminar titled, "How to Use the Internet to Find a Job in Any Economy."  It will be presented by Steve Porter of JobsinRI.com and will run from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Classroom 119.
