PropertyGuru Strengthens “Guru-dom” with New General Manager and Chief Marketing Officer

PropertyGuru continues to expand, adding two heavy-hitters to its senior management team this week.
 
March 3, 2010 - PRLog -- Keith Low takes on the newly created General Manager role, taking full responsibility of the Company’s revenues. Winnie Khoo joins from Alibaba.com, and is the new Chief Marketing Officer responsible for all marketing, customer services and content activities.

Keith has over 17 years experience and has a strong senior network in the real estate and ICT sectors. With a specialization in Business Development, he has set up and managed cross-cultural teams across 3 continents in both emerging and developed market environments (France, South Africa, Cambodia and Singapore). Previously, he was Vice President at Pyramid Management Group (the largest privately owned retail developer in the US with a portfolio producing over US$5bn annually), heading their China and SE Asia strategic investment and development business. Before that, he held various sales leadership and business development roles in the Renewable Energy sector as Managing Director of Lionapex and the ICT sector as Business Development Manager at Goldtron. He was also a member of the founding team of a B2B online firm (VChain) during the height of the dot-com craze. Keith sits on the board of World Vision International (Singapore) and was a candidate in the MBA (Real Estate) programme (Class 2007) from the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Winnie has 13 years of broad marketing and online experience, holding senior roles in Singapore, Hong Kong and China. She began her career holding marketing management roles in TTG Asia and Miller Freeman, marketing databases to IT/Telco clients in Asia and the USA. This was followed by a position as Senior Marketing Manager at Global Sources, where she was responsible for marketing the company's print, online and trade show businesses. Her last appointment prior to joining PropertyGuru.com.sg was as Senior Director at Alibaba.com, responsible for marketing Alibaba.com’s International Site. Here, she led a large division, consisting of online marketing, marketing programmes, site promotion, member database growth/segmentation, email marketing, creative and customer service teams. Winnie graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications.

Keith and Winnie’s appointments started on the 1st of March 2010 and both of them will be reporting directly to the company’s Managing Director.
