Having been in the Direct Marketing industry for 13 years, acclaimed Bernice van Rooyen joined Wunderman SA in January 2010 as the agency’s Executive Creative Director.
Van Rooyen was inspired to work at the number one global direct marketing specialist agency based on the potential of the local business, the creative scope and the familiar people she’d worked with before.
Wunderman has a right/ left brain philosophy at its leadership level, which means that the lead on the business partners strategically with the lead on creative. Partnering as the right brain counterpart to Debi Loftie-Eaton, the MD of the agency, van Rooyen aims to drive Wunderman creatively as the number one choice in the industry. With more than 40 awards under her belt, van Rooyen is no stranger to success. She attributes this to her extensive travel and interest in fine arts, which allows her to view the world differently as a designer.
