Ecobility Energy Solutions LLC, the UAE’s private sector pioneer in sustainability solutions, announced today that it has launched a new line of environmentally-
Organizations looking to champion sustainable business practices and communicate their environmental commitment to staff, clients and the wider community will be pleased to learn that Ecodoc paper is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) – widely regarded as the premiere accreditation for responsible paper production. In addition to using strictly 100% post-consumer recycled fibers, Ecodoc is manufactured using a totally chlorine free process and is acid-free, making it a genuinely low-impact alternative.
Karim Aly, Director of Strategy & Innovation at Ecobility said: “With the launch of Ecodoc, we are proud to have introduced yet another sustainable solution which enables individuals and businesses to take simple steps that benefit the environment and the community.”
The price of Ecodoc has been aligned with conventional paper as a result of an advanced manufacturing process that yields substantial energy and water savings, allowing the economic benefit to be passed along to the end-users. By switching to Ecodoc, an office which consumes 50 boxes of A4 paper a month would save, over the course of a year, approximately 26 trees, 21 million BTUs of energy, 10,800 gallons of water and prevent 3.7 tonnes of Carbon emissions as well as divert 1,500 kilograms of waste paper from entering landfills.
Together with becoming more sensible with what one chooses to print, switching to Ecodoc is the easiest way to balance commercial performance with tangible environmental gains.
