Creating, manufacturing and shipping a dress from start to finish within Canada helps cut down our carbon footprint a little, and every bit counts,” states Nixon. Nixon is also exhibiting her desire to be eco-conscious by experimenting with new textiles. Spring 2010 includes dresses using bamboo fabric in a collection of juicy colours. She is also planning more excursions into “alternate and eco-friendly”
