Carmen founded the Astrological Self Awareness Center in 2005 as a way to reach out to other through the internet and to connect with individuals all over the world. For the past 16 years, she has provided astrological counseling, practical counseling and life coaching to individuals, teenagers, children and couples using a variety of specialized techniques.
Noticing her skills at an early age Carmen has been studying astrology, religion and metaphysics since the age of 16.
The most important component in life is commitment. No one understands this more than Carmen Turner Schott. She found that people want honesty and integrity in the services provided. Carmen realized that authenticity, compassion and precision are vital to quality consultations and life coaching. After becoming a licensed clinical social worker and working with individuals and families in many different capacities, Carmen realized that something was missing. According to Carmen, “I wanted to use the spiritual tools and gifts that I had and that I knew would help individuals heal themselves without years of psychotherapy or medication. I wanted to broaden my training and skills in many different disciplines to enable myself to truly counsel my clients using the mind-body-spirit connection. My main mission is to bring astrology into the helping professions and increase its acceptance in the mental health field as an educational tool.”
Carmen will be hosting a BBS Radio Show. The show is called "Astrology Awareness" Practical Astrology and Spiritual Counseling on Sundays at 2 PM EST, 1 PM CST and 11 AM PST.
