DSP Emulator Pod Offers ESD Protected Pod Signals

March 2, 2010 - PRLog -- Toronto, Canada - (www.GAOEmbedded.com) has launched its JTAG Scan Path TI D SP Emulator Pod which is compatible with Texas Instruments' XDS510 +3.3V or +5V processors, SPI110 Opto Pod and four-channel JTAG expanders, as well as, Code Composer Studio from TI, "SDFlash" programming utility from Spectrum Digital and other programming utilities developed by TI. This emulator pod is commonly used for debugging hardware and software and for flash programming. It supports TI DSPs and microcontrollers with JTAG interfaces.
The DSP emulator pod, model XDS510PP, operates via a parallel port on a PC or laptop. It supports bi-directional ECP and EPP transfer and offers hardware detection in the event of power failure or cable disconnects; all pod signals are ESD protected. This emulator is compatible with Windows 98ME, 2000, NT, and XP operating systems. In addition, the emulator can be powered by either the target board or included adapter.
