Ad Fed To Announce Addy Award Winners And The Vision For Fort Lauderdale’s Advertising Industry

March 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Fort Lauderdale, FL, March 1, 2010 – AAF Greater Fort Lauderdale (Ad Fed) will announce the 2010 ADDY awards on March 5th, 2010 at Cinema Paradiso from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.  The annual award show showcases the best of the best in advertising from the local pool of advertising and marketing talent. This year’s sponsors include: Icreatives Staffing, Gmund Papers, Rex 3, Qualified Creatives, Design Chicklet and LP Media.

Apart from the awards, president of AAF Greater Fort Lauderdale, Andrew Martineau will discuss Fort Lauderdale’s potential as the next hotspot for the advertising industry. His pet project is dubbed “Fort Lauderdale: A Warm New York?” The concept was created with “Warm” representing Fort Lauderdale and “New York” representing a popular advertising market. “In the past I have had some great opportunities to relocate to New York for work and passed up on them namely because of the weather,” says Martineau, “as the years went by I felt compelled to try to build my own “New York” here in sunny South Florida … we have the creative talent and we have the sun, all we need is the infrastructure and the time is now.”
The gala’s agenda includes hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, networking, winners reel, award presentation and of course the after party.
