Culver City, CA – March 1, 2010, D.R.E.A.M.S. (Developing a Responsible, Educated And Moral Society) foundation announced a non-competitive athletic event called ‘Quadathalon,’
which will be held Sunday, July 25, 2010 from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM to raise funds to endow the ‘Dream/ Plan Scholarship.’
The Veterans Park in Culver City will be the central venue, while the other activities will be spread out throughout the greater Westside community, notably a bike course to the beach. Besides biking, activities such as swimming, volleyball, jogging/walking, games with prizes and giveaways for children are planned. The BBQ and other surprise entertainment are not to be missed.Since 2000,

has awarded scholarships to students who have successfully graduated from high schools with an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) and are seeking higher education. Through the Quadathalon event, the organization is seeking to raise funds and visibility and award as many as eight $5000 Dream Plans Scholarships.Groups are currently being formed for the Quadathalon.
