Follow on Google News | Ship Equip launch extensive training programmeThe Ship Equip Academy has been created in order to serve employees, customers and dealers. It is part of the effort to increase the level of knowledge as well as distribute the know how generated in the company to employees and others that need it.
By: Arnfinn Oksavik, information manager at Ship Equip The academy includes all aspects of the group and is part of the HR department and managed by Merete Alnes Mostue, CHR. - The key objectives of this extensive training programme are to strengthen our core expertise, improve our know how in parts of the value chain that is most important for Ship Equip and to contribute to our customers and dealers ability to handle our products, Merete A. Mostue underlines. The Ship Equip Academy will feature a variety of learning opportunities in different aspects of the company operation: • Corporate culture, including introduction programme for new employees and new companies in the group • Technical and professional skills for employees and dealers • Management training The organizational unit responsible for carrying out the SE Academy training has been established through 2009 and is now up and running. Kristin Alvestad is the Training Supervisor, and is responsible for the planning and scheduling of the training, as well as the day to day follow up of all training programmes.
