Speedo Shapeline
Dr Linda Papadopoulos, the leading psychologist and television presenter, has
been appointed by Speedo, the world’s leading swimwear brand, to become
an ambassador for the launch of its new Shapeline, body-shaping swimwear
collection.
Dr Linda’s involvement with Shapeline is to advise on the wide range of women’s
body image fears and strategies to address them, helping women to develop the
confidence to hit the beach and swimming pool in their swimsuits. Speedo’s new
Shapeline collection provides the nearest thing to made-to-measure swimsuits,
designed to accommodate and complement the individual body shapes of
women.
One of the most well-known and respected psychologists in the UK, Dr. Linda is
renowned for her professional psychological commentary on numerous TV and
radio programmes including Big Brother, GMTV, The Wright Stuff, Newsround, LK
Today, Celebrity Fit Club, BBC Breakfast, Channel 5 News and Sky News. Her vast
professional experience in dealing with women’s body image makes Dr. Linda the
perfect ambassador for the launch of Speedo’s Shapeline collection.
Dr. Linda has written many books, most notably Mirror Mirror: Dr. Linda’s Body Revolution which offers guidance and support for individuals dealing with poor body image, helping them change self perception and revolutionise the way they feel about themselves. Her expertise has also been used within the fashion world for labels including Christian Dior, where she has provided valuable insight into consumer behaviour.
