It is very often that one of my clients or friends pops the usuall question: "I'm having a social media campaign. What website should I use in my media plan?"I think the question itself bears the true problem and challenge of social media no one took a minute to define it untill now
I actually took a day off to think it over as definitions are the main barrier in selling or adopting the social media campaign wether you are a marketing manager or an account executive.
I took the very basic definition of media: Means of Communication.
So if we will do the basic math Social media should be defined as:
Social means of communication
but is that it?
Not at all!
