DC Turnbull Martial Arts
Master David Turnbull of DC Turnbull Martial Arts is offering low-cost women only self-defense and rape prevention classes at his new school in Sanford, Florida. Located at 1662 W. Airport Blvd in the Riverboat Commerce Center, classes are held 2 evenings a month on the first and third Thursdays.
Classes last for one hour starting at 8 pm and ending at 9 pm. The cost of each class is a reasonable $5.00 per student. This class does not require students to learn forms and concentrates on self-defense in attack situations. No contracts are required.
Master Turnbull is committed to helping women defend themselves and all his black belts, female or not, must attempt to get out of an attack situation on the ground as part of their testing. Master Turnbull trains on a regular basis and trained this past summer at the 2009 Martial Arts SuperShow in Las Vegas.

Additionally, Master Turnbull is the Florida AAU TaeKwonDo president, the TaeKwonDo coordinator for the Disney Martial Arts Festival in Orlando and the National Director for comBATON. He is married to Wendi Turnbull, a TaeKwonDo master and martial arts tournament photographer.
Master Turnbull is a 5th degree Black Belt in TaeKwonDo, a Blue Belt in Ju Jitsu, and a Purple belt in Goju Shorei, a weapons art. He is a former Ohio Athlete of the Year and a Nation Champion in forms and fighting. For more information call the school at 321-356-9299.
