Remdal Painting & Restoration is seizing a unique opportunity to grow out of the recession, by hiring a trade qualified painter and promoting a senior foreman. With these additions, we can expand our service standards and ability to actively manager our strata repainting and house painting work in 2010 and beyond.
The challenges of growing a business in a recession led the owners of Remdal Painting & Restoration, Ken Ewert, Dan Schmidt, and Rob Beck to look to serve their customers more fully as a way to succeed in this environment. Rather than downsize, they have added two individuals to manage projects and estimate new work.
Nima Banihashemi was a senior foreman with the company, having worked as a lead hand and painter for over 15 years. By promoting from within, the learning curve of the corporate culture will be reduced considerable. Primarily focusing on estimating and managing larger repainting projects for property managers and stratas, Nima will also be involved in the growing concrete restoration, epoxy and specialty flooring, and construction fields.
As a trades qualified painter (C.Q.), Vince Dahl spent the last number of years honing his trade with the local Abbotsford, Mission, and Langley school districts. Vince worked for Remdal Painting previously as a foreman on larger projects. His focus will be the residential house painting market, growing in his expertise as estimator and managing the multiple home projects.
An additional benefit to our customers is that the team at Remdal is strengthened with an additional 20 plus years of valuable hands-on painting expertise, and able to provide the active management on sites that has been our trademark in the industry.
