NEWBURY PARK, CALIF.--The Miller Family YMCA preschool program is accepting applications for its fall session.
Children ages 2 1/2 to 5 who are enrolled in the program have the opportunity to take free swim lessons, Spanish lessons and participate in Fit Kids Club, a fitness class that includes jumping, dancing, balancing and coordinating movements.
Curriculum is based on the major areas of early development including letter recognition and phonics, pre-math skills, gross and fine motor skills, creative expression through various art mediums, music and dance, and the exploration of basic science concepts.

The Miller Family YMCA preschool is a state licensed facility. Its two classes hold 20 preschoolers each. "We offer a warm and loving environment where each child and parent is greeted each day," says Triplett. "A bond is created between children, parents and staff, which enables the preschool to enrich the lives of all involved."
