FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb 26, 2010 -
The allegations in People v. D.P. where serious. Police alleged that the client ran a red light at a high rate of speed almost causing an accident. The client then allegedly blew .196 on a breathelyzer.
New York City DWI DUI Defense lawyer Michael S. Discioarro made a motion to dismiss when the police and prosecutors violated the clients constitutional rights. The Judge agreed and dismissed the case. "When prosecutors and police violate a defendant's rights, the case should be dismissed."
Mr. Discioarro went on to say that it is important to review the actions of the police in each case because each case is different. There are constitutional protections that are give to each person arrested and only an attorney can review the police's conduct.
Mr. Discioarro also said that many people are not even aware what the police procedures are. He says that police need better training in protecting people's constitutional rights. He serves those accused of DWI DUI through http://www.dwibrooklyn.com or calling him directly at 917-519-8417
