Spinal Decompression Demonstrates Impressive Results

Dr. Timothy A. Swank, DC, CCSP presented information in Raleigh demonstrating the benefits of spinal decompression. According to Swank, "the health of the intervertebral disc may be improved with decompression." "I feel that conservative care should always be a first consideration, prior to surgical intervention," says Swank.   Based on MRI evaluation; Spinal Decompression treatment has been extremely promising in terms of preserving and rehabilitating intervertebral discs. Swank quoted a recent finding that was published in the journal "Spine" "Disc distraction shows evidence of regenerative potential in degenerated intervertebral discs as evaluated by protein expression, magnetic resonance imaging, and messenger ribonucleic acid expression analysis.
