Turbosonic Usa® Supports National Physical Fitness And Sports Month

New Sonic Vibration Therapy Provides Non-Invasive, Training Program in 10 Minutes a Day

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb 25, 2010 -
HOOD RIVER, OR, FEBRUARY 25, 2010 – The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has designated May as National Physical Fitness and Sports Day, a great time to inspire the 7 in 10 adults who don’t get the recommended amount of physical activity for optimal health. One of America’s leading reasons for not exercising is a lack of time. With the new TurboSonic® sonic vibration therapy system, this excuse no longer applies. In only 10 minutes a day Americans can now meet the Presidential challenge even if they are currently out of shape.

“We have found a lot individuals want to start an exercise program, but they are so out of shape, the idea of starting a fitness routine is too daunting,” explained TurboSonic USA President Jim Cole. “With the TurboSonic, individuals will get a non-invasive workout that will build strength, endurance and reduce their propensity for injury while preparing them to participate in more strenuous exercise or activity going forward.”

The TurboSonic® sonic (sound) vibrating platform creates precision vertical vibrations -- which are most natural to the human body and the direction experienced through exercise – to reduce weight, cellulite, cortisol, stress, fluid retention and fatigue, while improving physical strength, tone, endurance, flexibility, coordination, balance and more.
Introduced by TurboSonic USA, a division of Maxam Wellness, a leading global provider of natural health supplements and medical device technologies for health and wellness, the TurboSonic® sonic vibration therapy employs the “Science of Sound”, a patented sonic vibration technology based on decades of research and development. This next generation technology uses a speaker system with a new magnetic circuit instead of spin, mechanized motors commonly used in other WBV machines.

Designed for all around physical performance enhancement and physical therapy, the TurboSonic® is designed to accelerate the body's natural healing response, increase cellular oxygen circulation, enhance cellular nutrient uptake, stimulate cellular fluid movement and facilitate cellular waste. This process stimulates bones, muscles, blood vessels, and cells in a manner that promotes their rapid development and circulation, to the benefit of any age user or health stage from professional athlete to the disabled.
Researched with Proven Medical Benefits

The TurboSonic® is presently used worldwide by professional fitness trainers, Olympian and professional athletes, celebrities, health clubs, weight loss centers and spas, as well as chiropractors, physical therapists, orthopedics and medical doctors. Additionally it’s backed by decades of research and reported improvements by users with conditions such as emphysema, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), osteoporosis, arthritis/rheumatism, and lower back pain. Many reports show an increase in growth hormone and serotonin, while lowering cortisol and other stress-related hormones.

“I am very impressed with the TurboSonic whole body vibration therapy. I’ve used it and can report a decrease in delayed onset muscle soreness and an increase in flexibility,” stated Dr. Carmine Gangemi, a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer. “I strongly recommend that TurboSonic whole body vibration therapy be part of an exercise regimen or a complement to rehabilitative therapy.”

How TurboSonic® Works

The sonic vertical movement of the plate within the TurboSonic® platform stimulates the body’s natural “stretch reflex”, causing spontaneous muscle contraction to instinctively stretch and contract; both movements occur at carrying rates between three and 60 times per second (3Hz to 60 Hz). This movement produces mechanical oscillations with an average cycle length of about 40 milliseconds, the time required to induce a natural monosynaptic stretching reflex in the respective muscle. The neuromuscular system reacts to this stimulation by a chain of rapid muscle contractions, which result in entire body vibration.

Unlike competing WBV motor-based models currently on the market, the TurboSonic® sonic wave motor technology creates little mechanical friction or noise, infrequently malfunctions, delivers effectively even at low frequencies, and provides users with adjustable power output. These features are most beneficial to users with joint, spinal or related conditions or whose physical constitution is easily comprised body imbalances, jerky movements, and/or inaccurate vertical or horizontal movements.

The TurboSonic® sonic vibration therapy is developed for professional and personal use, with four models to choose from, including the Ovation, Professional, Deluxe and X7. All models are available through distribution and online at www.turbosonicusa.com.

The TurboSonic® is registered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a Class 1 Powered Exercise Equipment/Vibration Therapy Device and can be billed by licensed health practitioners for therapy sessions under CPT codes for procedures 97110, 97112, and 97530, registration number 890.5380. All patients with appropriate concerns can be enlisted in a protocol using the TurboSonic® sonic vibration technology.
