As winter begins to fade away, and the dreams of spring and summer are again reborn, it’s no wonder that Dave and Mary Morris of http://www.Front-
“We feel such a connection with Paula’s perspective and her sheer love of porches as she discusses the foundation of her book”, Dave and Mary share. They - and many others - agree with Paula’s observation that, “We're in the midst of the Great Porch Renaissance, and clients want interior designers and architects to create intentional outdoor spaces – not just for homes, but in any and every kind of structure they might be designing: hospitals, corporate offices, retail spaces.”
Paula further shares this observation about the renewed interest in the reintroduction of the front porch into the American way of life. “Things have started to change, by degrees (literally!). Americans are turning off the television. They're reconnecting with one another. They're gathering outside again.”
At Front Porch Ideas and More this same trend is obvious to fellow porch lovers including Dave and Mary. “The array of perfect porch designs – e.g., screened, three-season, enclosures, etc. – makes the choice to move to an outdoor lifestyle possible for anyone,” Mary shares. If you love porches, this book is chock-full of porch ideas and pictures of beautifully decorated porches. It features all kind of porches: urban, farmhouse, country, modern and coastal.
