Egypt’s Covertina, one of the leading chocolates producers, revealed their new brand identity at the Gulfood 2010 exhibition in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from February 21 to 24.
“At the Gulfood exhibition this year, we explored new markets, met with our customers and developed new contacts,” said Rafaat Sallam, Covertina’s owner.
This year, Covertina unveiled a new brand identity for their line of chocolate bars, explained Sallam. Their new identity measured a great level of success for the chocolates leader.

Established in 1963, Covertina is the Egyptian market leader in bulk chocolate pieces today. In addition to chocolate pieces, Covertina also produces chocolate bars and a complete sugar line of wrapped chocolate pieces such as toffees.
With three factories in Egypt, Covertina also announced that they are launching a new line of biscuits in quarter two of 2010.
