Out of the many popular attractions of Perth, what Aussies them self recommend for the foreign tourists especially those traveling with families, is the splendid Caversham Wildlife Park, a private park that is a living example of outstanding effort to save the wild life proving fruitful and beneficiary to not only the country but the whole world. It would not be appropriate to call it a Zoo, since it’s more than that. The Caversham is superbly located in the Whiteman Park complex in Perth's northern suburbs and part of the Swan Valley experience.

In the Caversham Wildlife Park, you can wander through large enclosures and get very close up and personal with Kangaroos and Koala Bears. Take time to watch Mollys Farm Show where you will see a small flock of sheep rounded up by a sheep dog and also a wonderful sheep shearing demonstration, plus whip cracking. There are also Echidnas, Wombats, Parrots, Owls and a huge Eagle.
Also it is in walking distance to rides and amusement park within the area of the Caversham. Must, take camera with you. Your kids are going to love it. You will be grinning from ear to ear by the time you leave the park as you will not only seen all the animals you have had dreamed of seeing but also will be able to pat and feed them, take photos with them without any bars or cages.
