Feb. 25, 2010 - PRLog -- Said Chamaiporn Paphatphong, Director of “Skill Driving Experience with IMC” Project, “Since the Project started in 2009, response has been very good from members of IMC Magazines, buyers of cars in the Motor Expo and the general public. In the Motor Expo, lots of people registered to queue up for the training as the Project was considered useful to drivers, training them proper car control in an emergency, helping to reduce road accidents that tend to increase both in number and severity.

“The key feature of the Project is we provide 3 types of car for the trainees, that is FWD, RWD and 4WD, thanks to the excellent support from Motor Image Subaru (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and the “White Road” Project of Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd. Trainees learn to drive on the up-to-standard Thai Bridgestone Proving Ground, Amphoe Wang Noi, Ayutthaya under close supervision of such professional driving instructors as Mr. Nattavut Charoensukawatana, Mr. Sirakup Metanee and Mr. Vuthinant Sapavasu.”
“The training simulates real world situations at 3 stations, viz.
1. Over/Under Steering and Hand Brake Technique.
2. Emergency Braking.
3. Lane Change Braking and Avoiding.

   The training is wrapped up with a gymkhana-style slalom time trial to review all that has been taught” said the Director.  
In the year 2010 “Skill Driving Experience with IMC” Project will run 5 training courses, the first on March 7, for Members of IMC Magazines, buyers of cars in the Motor Expo 2009 and the general public.

To enrol on this training course you can either apply direct at 02-641-8444 ext. 405 or download the application form from www.skilldriving-imc.com, fill in the form and fax it to Inter-Media Consultant Co., Ltd. As the number of applicants is large, training will be given on first come, first served basis. The full training fee for the general public is 7,900 Baht per person, the fee after special discount for members of IMC magazines will be 3,500 Baht per person and 5,500 Baht per person for those registered during the 26th Motor Expo.
