Chuck LeBeau Receives the 2010 Traders’ Hall of Fame Award

Feb. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Legendary technical analyst and Chuck LeBeau will be the next inductee into the Traders’ Library Traders’ Hall of Fame. This award was created in 2001 to acknowledge those exceptional traders and educators who have shared their knowledge and experience and contributed to the growth of the trading education industry.

Since writing one of the all-time trading classics, Technical Traders’ Guide to Computer Analysis of the Futures Markets, in 1991with co-author David Lucas, LeBeau has gone on to help thousands of traders protect their profits as the Founder and Director of Analytics of www.smartstops.net. Lebeau has also helped traders develop better systems through his System Trader Club.

LeBeau has been a professional in the field of investing for more than forty years and is a world-renowned expert in the subject of exit strategies. His pioneering research on exit strategies has led to many new techniques and models such as the now famous “Chandelier Exit” that have been eagerly adopted by the investment community. Lebeau served as Vice President and Regional Futures Director at E.F. Hutton for twenty years before becoming a Commodity Trading Advisor and Hedge Fund Manager for stock investments. His classic book about technical indicators, Computer Analysis of the Futures Market, has been published in seven languages and his informative articles have appeared in a variety of publications that focus on technical analysis and quantitative engineering. His DVD course, Precise Exits & Entries: The Guide to Average True Range and Average Directional Index, is also a bestseller.

Previous recipients of the Traders’ Hall of Fame Award include Richard Arms, Price Headley, Martin Pring, George Fontanills, Bernie Schaeffer, Jim Bittman, Robert Prechter, Sheldon Natenberg, John Murphy, Larry McMillan, and Jack Schwager.
