BEAUMONT, Texas – In a project called In Motion For A Million, two athletes are rollerblading across the USA in an attempt to raise one million dollars for Huntington’s Disease Society of America and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Currently on their way to Texas, the team is moving diligently towards their final destination:
Even though the road conditions have been trying, participant and co-founder of In Motion For A Million Steven Feigenbaum pushes on. “Both of us have lost someone very close to us to both Huntington's and Lymphoma. There have been some road closures we weren't expecting and road conditions that are extremely difficult to skate over but it doesn't matter. We are fueled by the people we meet along the way who care as much as we do and right now, we are pushing 60 miles a day!"
The athletes will enter Texas today and then have to journey through New Mexico and Arizona before hitting their entry point into California at Blythe.
