Rome Urban Adventures
February 25, 2010 – Visitors coming to Rome this season will have a new exciting choice for discovering the beauty and secrets of the Eternal city. On 1 March Blue Travel LLC, tour operator specialized in quality travels in Italy, will launch Rome Urban Adventures, a new sightseeing tour company in Rome.
It may seem a risky move in a crowded market where many tour services are offered already. And even more so in a travel industry that is still trying to recover from the terrible 2009 season, and with many uncertainties regarding how international tourism will be in 2010.
But at Blue Travel they seem pretty confident: “We are very excited to introduce Urban Adventures to Rome” said Andrea Barsotti, founder and owner of Blue Travel “We are offering a new tour concept that is based on three key components: providing true emotions to the visitor, supporting the local community and giving great value for money”
The Urban Adventures tours are designed to stimulate all traveler’s senses. Seeing the top tourist attractions as well as hidden gems away from the crowds. Tasting local foods and specialties, from “hot pizza bianca” to the best gelato of the capital. Feeling the pulse of Rome mingling with locals in open air markets or in the bars where the youngsters have fun.
While the actual tours will begin on 1 March, the website romeurbanadventures.com is online already with two services offered. The first tour “Roman Empire Now and Then” is focusing on ancient Rome sites (Colosseum, Roman Forum, Theatre of Marcellus), Campo de’ Fiori (an open-air food market), Jewish Rome and a stop in specialty food corner.
The second tour, “Roman Dolce Vita”, will make visitors experience the delight of the best espresso and gelato together with top tourist attractions like Trevi Fountain, Navona Square, Spanish Steps, the Pantheon and some hidden gems too.
