Hearts for Haiti tea gift set
Effective today, The Tea Spot is extending its Hearts for Haiti gift set offering through the remainder of 2010. In addition, on March 1, The Tea Spot will advance their customers’ donations from the Hearts for Haiti gift set to the relief efforts in the Republic of Haiti. This advance will reflect donations from all projected sales of the gift set through 2010.
In the wake of the earthquake that devastated Haiti earlier this year, The Tea Spot’s CEO, Maria Uspenski, has a message for socially responsible consumers who are looking to make donations to help the people of Haiti: “Our hearts go out to the people of Haiti, and we understand that they need contributions now, during this time of emergency, so we are advancing our next ten months of donations to Partners in Health. Of all the organizations that are on the ground helping, we feel that Partners In Health is doing an outstanding job. They have been a major asset in Haiti since 1985, helping people who can't otherwise afford medical care. The Tea Spot originally created the gift set for Valentine's Day to help raise money for the people of Haiti through this noteworthy non-profit.
