Ernie and the Automatics, a Boston-based band is celebrated in Boston because its members are wired directly into the DNA of Boston’s rock n’ roll community with a particularly strong and loyal following of fans across New England.
Ernie and the Automatics consists of Ernie Boch Jr., guitarist; Barry Goudreau, guitarist; Sib Hashian, drums; Brian Maes, lead vocals and keyboard; Tim Archibald, bass; and Michael "Tunes" Antunes, sax. Barry and Sib are two former members of the multi-platinum band Boston. Brian and Tim toured with Peter Wolf’s House Party Five, and Michael "Tunes" Antunes is an original member and current performer with John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. They are best known for their hit "On The Dark Side" and music in the movie "Eddie And The Cruisers.”
