VASCULAR AWARENESS. A NATIONAL CAMPAIGN ABOUT ENDOVENOUS
TREATMENTS AND THE IMPORTANCE OF VEIN DISEASE GROWS.
LOCAL SURGEON FOLLOWS SUIT.

February 2010 - Springfield, MA – In association with Hampden County Physician Associates, Dr. K. Francis Lee of Advanced Vein Care Center is launching a 2010 campaign to educate the local public on the latest endovenous treatment options. “Our diligence in treating and educating the Springfield population about the latest and most advanced treatment options now available is paramount to our objectives,” says Founder of the Advanced Vein Care Center. “On March 2nd between the hours of 9am and 5pm and March 16 from 1pm to 6pm, we are holding Free Venous Screenings. The screening program is designed to assess the risk for venous thromboembolism, detect signs of chronic venous insufficiency and testing for venous obstruction,” says Dr. Lee. “We are dedicating 2 days of service to our community,” says Dr. Lee.

More than 20 million Americans suffer from venous insufficiency and studies show that only approximately 3% are currently been treated. “It is imperative that both national and local media outlets keep educating the public about the causes, symptoms and consequences of venous diseases,” says Dr. Lee. “The latest and most advanced minimally invasive treatment options are now available to the public and our office-based state-of-the-art clinic makes it easier to receive the care necessary to perform these procedures. No scarring no downtime,” Lee says.

Varicose veins are swollen, twisted, painful veins that have filled with an abnormal collection of blood. Varicose Veins may seem just cosmetic but the condition can lead to more serious problems such as fatigue, night cramps, and leg swelling and itching around certain veins.
