IIMSAM official applauded the nomination of UAE Superstar icon Hussain Jassmi as GWA of IIMSAM

Hussain Al Jassmi is a well- known personality hailing from the United Arab Emirates and is widely known for his legendary works in the music industry and is considered to be heart beats for millions of peoples.

In his press statement, Dr. Naseer Homoud has praised his social endeavors and wished for his all success. "On behalf of IIMSAM Middle East regional office and on my own behalf I wish you further successes in your new assignment as Goodwill Ambassador of IIMSAM. Taking the chance, I would also like to thank you for fruitful cooperation with IIMSAM", Dr. Naseer added.

Dr. Homoud assured the new Goodwill Ambassador for all his cooperation in his new responsibilities to realize IIMSAM's ambition of a world free of hunger and malnutrition and to secure the United Nations Millennium Development Goals by making Spirulina a key-driver to eradicate malnutrition, achieve food security and bridge the health divide.

In his press statement, Dr. Homoud hoped that UAE icon Hussain Jassmi’s potentials will certainly facilitate the IIMSAM through its initiatives against malnutrition to make the lives of the affected victims fill with hope, love, and peace for their future.

Hussain Al Jassmi, has been a recipient of various distinguished awards among some selected ones are: First position for video clip ‘Bawadaak’ inVideo clip festival 2003, Best Gulf Artist in Oscar Poll in Egypt in 2004-2005, Bestowed upon the title ‘Youth Ambassador’ 2006 by the League of Arab States, Was bestowed upon the title ‘Singer of the Arabs’ in 2007 and the award of the Best Arabic Son for his ‘W Bahibek Wahashtiny’,He was also awarded an appraisal prize as the best Arab artist for his annual works by the ART festival for year 2009. His fans bestowed on him the title ‘The Sensitive Artist” through he Internet, especially after he launched his song ‘Ana Al Shaki’. The magazine “Zahrat Al Khaleej” has honoured him through its 30th anniversary and has awarded him the decoration of the best Arab artist of the year, and has given him the name “The Emperor of the Arab song” that his fans adored.  

“Everyone can count on his continued, tireless support to humanitarian activities and worldwide campaigns against hunger to enable those are sufferers and being deprived of their basic rights. Ambassador Hussain Jassmi nomination as Goodwill Ambassador for IIMSAM would certainly add momentum to IIMSAM in pursuit of its goal to make this world free of hunger and malnutrition”. Dr. Homoud said.  He further added ““Advocacy from IIMSAM Goodwill Ambassadors helps build momentum to improve the lives of children around the world. We are proud to have Hussain Jassmi as one of the strong voices for people particularly children who are living under the continual threat of malnutrition. No one said it better than Gandhi when he said ‘be the change you want to see in the world’. He also congratulated His Excellency Ambassador Remigio M. Maradona Director General of the IIMSAM for his role in nomination of Hussain Jassmi as Goodwill Ambassador of IIMSAM.
