Amanda Johnson (pronounced “Amonda”) is a teacher, writer, and educator. She has also worked as a professional model. Amanda says that her crowning achievement in life has been raising her five daughters. In the summer of 2008, the entire family received the "Spirit of Detroit" Award from the Detroit City Council for their volunteerism.
