Chicago Designer Borris Powell wows audience of Fashion Industry and Press at London Fashion Week

Feb. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Chicago-based designer, Borris Powell shimmied off the catwalk after his incredible Aut/Winter 2010 collection ‘The Rise of an Empress’ was showcased on Friday... and ladies were smitten, both with the designer himself and his stunning collection!

The newest collection from Powell, laden with structured bodices and floating silk was inspired by a trip to Rome.   “I always wanted to make women feel beautiful” Powell says, and his designs undoubtedly showcase this wish successfully.  

The collection was stunning and dramatic at the same time, building up to the finale with the incredible operatic music Borris had chosen especially.

Before the show, models were trawling through the rail of elegant gowns all created by Borris, and this is what we soon expect to be happening in London stores like Liberty's and Harrods.  Ladies - they are simply stunning, and we are sure to be seeing much more from Borris Powell after this spectacular showcase!
