PRLog (Press Release) - Feb 23, 2010 -
celum, a leading European supplier of products to automate marketing, communication s and sales processes, announced today that 2009 revenue from its Enterprise Digital Asset Management solutions grew by over 30% compared to 2008.

In spite of the challenging economic climate, owner-managed celum experienced a surge in demand for Enterprise Digital Asset Management, bringing 60 new clients on board. Companies that chose celum in 2009 include DAIICHI SANKYO, Helvetia Insurance, Lanvin, Max Planck Institutes, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Praktiker, SCA Group, Sport Eybl, STO AG, Styria Multi Media, Toyota Motor Europe, Tretyakov State Gallery, Cologne University of Applied Sciences, University of Greifswald, US Department of Energy and Victorinox. More than 370 leading organizations from 27 countries use celum’s software to increase marketing efficiency.

“The celum team delivered a very strong year thanks to increased demand for solutions to automate marketing, sales and communications processes,” said Michael J. Kraeftner, CEO, celum. “This outstanding success reflects not only our company’s performance, but also the level of trust put in us by our customers. And given that this growth came during particularly challenging economic times, it’s a clear proof that celum products are effective in reducing our customers’ costs.”

In late 2009, celum announced its celum DYNAMO product, the agile web to print/dynamic collateral creation system that received a lot of attention from international experts for its agility and rapid implementation. Even before being officially launched, several celum customers started to implement the new system. Among them Austrian railways (ÖBB), who anticipate achieving cost reductions in the range of multiple EUR 100,000s per year.

Michael Kraeftner is very optimistic when talking about celum’s outlook for 2010: “We will continue to invest in new products to grow the existing portfolio, and to increase our presence in existing and new markets – our new branch offices in France and the US reflect that strategy. We also continue to invest in cooperation with new and existing partners, as well as advancing our technology. In particular, celum’s proactive integration strategy with Microsoft SharePoint is unrivalled in the J2EE Enterprise DAM market and will be a strategic focus for us in 2010.”

celum’s latest product generation, celum IMAGINE version IV.7, will be released at this years’ celumsummit in Vienna on 21 April 2010.
