Mr. P. Dwarakanath:
He is a Bachelor of Science, Law and holds Post Graduate Diploma in Management in PM & IR. Prior to his current assignment, he was the Director – Human Resources and Administration, India/ South Asia of GSK for several years. During his tenure, GSK was adjudged as one of the top five best employers in India for people related practices in the years 2002 to 2004. He was a member of GSK’s International HR team. He is on the board of several Companies / Institutions including GSK Consumer Healthcare Ltd. He brings rich and varied experience of nearly 39 years out of which he has spent 27 years in GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Consumer Healthcare Ltd.
Mr. Dwarakanath has held several positions in the various professional bodies. To name a few, he was the President of National Human Resources Development Network (NHRDN) (May 05 – Jul 07), President of Delhi Management Association (DMA) (2000 -01), Regional President – Northern Region of All India Management Association (AIMA) (2003 – 04) and Treasurer of AIMA (2005 – 07).
