SHANGHAI, FEB 22: The global leading business intelligence company, VMAC Business Group will be organising a 2 day workshop themed “Emissions Reduction Workshop on 15th & 16th March 2010 at Shanghai, China.
Due to the detrimental effects of air pollution and global warming on human health, organisms and the environment, many governments have put in place policies to regulate emissions in order to mitigate air pollution problems and slow or reverse the onset of future warming.
In light of the projected consequences of global warming on current and future generations, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) was formed in 1992 as an international environmental treaty aimed at stabilizing greenhouse gas concentrations on an international scale.
VMAC’s research team found out that many industries in the China are looking towards emissions reduction initiatives not purely to abide the rules set by UNFCC but to contribute to the international focus on greenhouse gas pollution, and also to practice corporate social responsibility for the good of environment and public.
According to Jay and Dr. Sung, the professional trainers for Emission Reduction Workshop “This workshop will provide a platform for HSE, technical, environmental engineering, and industrial engineering experts in oil & gas, petrochemical, and manufacturing sectors to meet and discuss issues pertaining emissions reduction and methods to improve on current practices”.
VMAC’s production manager, Joshini told the press earlier today “Engineers new to the field will also benefit from the technical exercises as Jay and Dr. Sung are highly experienced experts in the field. In addition, this workshop also provides delegates with excellent networking opportunities”
