By: John Greco “I’m honored to have my toys featured among so many fine artists’ work,” John Greco, owner and craftsman stated. “Stepping into Jersey Made, I knew immediately it was the right shop for my children’s line of toys.” Toys being carried by Jersey Made are cars, trucks, helicopters, and biplanes, among others. Holly Doyle, Jersey Made owner and recycled materials artist, approached John about her interest in carrying his line of toys. Greco Woodcrafting is the 24th artist to have work available in Jersey Made, which features handmade items, all of which are made by New Jersey artists. Jersey Made is the first brick and mortar location to carry toys by Greco Woodcrafting, which had previously only been available online and at craft fairs. # # # About Greco Woodcrafting Greco Woodcrafting, LLC was created in April 2008, primarily as a toy company. John Greco, founder of the company and father of two, grew increasingly frustrated with the repeated toy recalls and decided to begin creating toys for children that were sanded extra fine with no finish of any sort. Recognizing there is a kid in all of us, Greco Woodcrafting also offers Executive toys for adults, where oils are used to highlight the natural grain and colors of the different woods used. In September, 2009 Greco Woodcrafting introduced their initial fiber tools line, which included weaving stick shuttles and pick up sticks made from distinct and exotic woods. Greco Woodcrafting has a corporate partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, planting one tree for every five items sold.
