The Daily Record Unveils Newly Redesigned Web Site

Feb. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- The Daily Record announces the launch of a newly redesigned version of nydailyrecord.com. The new Web site, live today, is the culmination of over a year of development in response to the growing needs of the Greater Rochester legal and business communities.

The Daily Record worked very closely with Web developers to ensure that the end product is user-friendly as well as comprehensive and dynamic.  

“We want to be able to deliver the same high-quality, comprehensive data and editorial content online as we do in our print publication,” said Kevin Momot, Publisher of The Daily Record.  “We are a progressive publication, in step with the needs and desires of our readers. We wanted our electronic product to coincide with that.”

The new site will not only offer an improved design and easier navigation, but will also be updated daily with reporters and bloggers adding content as it becomes available.  Late breaking news stories and case digests will be posted as soon as they are written. More importantly, the new site will allow registered subscribers full access to the most sought-after content from The Daily Record, including case digests, court calendars, upcoming foreclosures, bankruptcies, credit actions, real estate transactions and public notices for Monroe County.

The new site will also offer enhancements for advertisers with new opportunities both online and within an all-new daily e-mail alert being launched today.  “Businesses interested in reaching our sophisticated audience will now have a choice between a banner and box ad on a dynamic, interactive site,” Momot said. “Our daily e-mail alert will allow these advertisers to be part of an opt-in product surrounded by essential news and information.”
