Sol has a busy upcoming tour schedule that includes Washington DC, Virginia, North Carolina, Atlanta Georgia throughout February, March, and April.

Sol is bringing a cast of highly talented musicians to the L.A. Bar, a local DC metro area venue, on Friday February 26. Sol works with the incredibly solid drummer Scott Rabino (of Tommy Castro, Idle Americans, Billy Woodward) and deep groove bassist Mike Tony Echols (of Mary Ann Redmond, Bobby Thompson, Politicks). Also saxophonist Eli Gonzalez (of the Texas Chainsaw Horns), recently back from a music tour overseas to support the US tours, will be performing with Sol in the Washington DC area.

L.A. Bar is a Washington DC area neighborhood venue that prides itself on its relaxed atmosphere, and has only recently dedicated itself to bringing in high quality area bands. L.A. Bar has a special Friday Night Music Series as well as a Thursday night Music Showcase and Open Jam.

On Friday March 5, Sol brings his powerful blend of music to Roanoke Virginia. Martins Downtown is a venue located in the heart of the entertainment district on downtown Roanoke. Sol will be performing with his band as well as with members of the local talented group The Alliens.

In mid March, Sol will be performing with the Wood Brothers (featuring Chris Woods of Medeski Martin and Woods) at a premier venue in Richmond VA. The Capital Ale House features the best in local, regional, and national touring musical talent. "I'm very excited about this upcoming event!", said Sol, via a phone interview. "Oliver Wood and I have mutual musical friends in Atlanta, so it will be wonderful to finally cross paths and connect". The Wood Brothers have their latest release on Blue Note Records.

Later in March, Sol heads to Atlanta to be a part of an annual musical festival in honor of one of Sol's musical influences: the late great blues legend Frank Edwards. This festival is a celebration of Edward's life and music and brings together some of the best of Atlanta's musicians as well as featuring national and international talents such as Eddie Kirkland, Sean Costello, and Sue Foley who have all been a part of the Chicken Raid. "My musical brother Mudcat puts together this festival every year and I try to help support him", Sol mentioned. "I was blessed with the opportunity to back up Mr Frank Edwards at the Chicago Blues Festival, and at some festivals in Georgia and North Carolina. The Chicken Raid festival brings back great memories and brings together fans, family, and wonderful musicians!"

Sol is also on the bill for one of North Carolina's premier music festivals this coming April. Shakori Hills Grassroots Music Festival includes top quality east coast performance groups as well as national talent. This festival in located near the Greensboro, NC area. "It's one of my favorites festivals and I love being able to work more in my home state!" says Sol.

Fred Cannon, a Senior Vice President at BMI, had this quote to offer about this rising musical star: "Sol is an exceptional guitarist & a great musician/songwriter who constantly reinvents himself with an extraordinary ability to fit the perfect approach and composition." The President of Music Maker (an organization Sol has worked with heavily in the previous years) declares: "Sol lays down a heavy groove! Sol tears out funk, rock, blues, and reggae, delivered with deep soul"

What is in the future for this wandering musical troubadour? "I'm trying to squeeze in time to release an acoustic style CD as well as another electric album, focusing on the funk and roots styles." It may be tough with his touring schedule, but surely Sol's fans are excited about the upcoming releases and performances.
